You can create a presentation using LibreOffice Impress.

Place the new Multi User (MU) Objects within your slides:
Voting Elements, Buttons, clickable Images, Drag-and-Drop Moveable Objects, etc.
You can also place ClickResultObjects if you want.
The ClickResultObjects may also be invisible to the audience but can send
results e.g. to your personal Smart Phone.
Since you do not have our pointers available (not yet)
you may use e.g. 5 Smart Phones (Android, iOS with vibration restriction)
to test the Audience Interaction.
Open a browser on the Smart Phone and open the local Impress URL (by QR code):
You can immediately login to the presentation if you have registered your
Smart Phone in the PointerNet (also your Audience).
Without registering, you can select the ID manually.
You can place the mouse buttons on the left side or on the right side.
The left mouse button is green, right mouse button is red.
Your Smart Phone will remember the setttings for you.

Then click "START"
Then move your finger in the blue area and your personal cursor
(or the Windows cursor) will follow on the screen.
Upper left in the blue area is upper left on the screen.
Lower right in the blue area is lower right on the screen.
Impress can also send vibrations (Android only) or sound/music
to each individual Smart Phone.
If you have given the right answer you get a long vibration,
for a wrong answer a short vibration.
The objects which you have placed decide what to send!

Vibrations are still not supported by iOS browsers.
Call APPLE to change this! They could do!
And once your presentation meets your expectations then go to the conference room:

Your own or in
a Hotel, a Museum, the University, the School, etc.

where you and the audience can use the pointers or their Smart Phones since both work simultaneously.
Nonetheless pointer usage is much more user friendly than using Smart Phones.
Try the difference at a showroom nearby!

By the way: You as the presenter can not only interact with your presentation
but you can also click privileged objects and even control the Windows cursor.

So presenting with a mouse pad or with a track ball is definitely a thing of the past!
